About Us
Chelmsford Swim & Tennis was established in 1965 and is a non-profit organization that is owned and operated by its members. Membership is limited to no more than 215 families, ensuring ample access to the facilities for all members. We offer swimming, diving, tennis teams and lessons as a full club member. There are plenty of activities available to keep your entire family busy all summer long. Some of our member favorites include story time, crafts and our annual wiffle ball tournament. Our Pool is open Memorial Day Weekend and closes Labor Day. The tennis courts are open and available to our members early Spring to mid Fall.

Caitlin Klick-McHugh
Club Manager
Head Swim Coach
Caitlin has spent over 30 summers swimming and coaching in the Colonial League, having learned to swim at Chelmsford Swim and Tennis Club as a 6 and Under. She went on to swim and run for Chelmsford High School, and was named the school's "Athlete of the Decade" in 1999 for setting Massachusetts state records in both swimming and track. She then captained the Boston College Swim and Dive team, competing on a full scholarship. In addition to coaching at CS&T, Caitlin has been the head coach of the Westford Academy Girls' Swim and Dive team since 2004, and has lead the team to 8 Division 1 Massachusetts State Championships. She has been named the Boston Globe Coach of the Year four times, and was named the MIAA Coach of the Year. Caitlin is currently a middle school physical education teacher in Chelmsford .
Shauna Klick-McHugh

Head Swim Coach
Shauna began her coaching career at CS&T teaching the fundamentals of the four strokes to 8 and unders on the team. She went on to captain the Chelmsford High School Swim & dive Team in 2022 before swimming for North eastern University. Shauna has been named the recipient of th Al Thomas Award ( given to an outstanding member of the Colonial League) and Massachusetts Swim Coaches' Associations' Assistant Coach of the Year Award. Shauna is currently a registered nurse at Boston Children's Hospital.
Lindsey Gillies
Assistant Swim Manager
Lindsey has spent the past 25 summers at Chelmsford Swim and Tennis Club. She began on the swim team in 1997 at age four, and began working as a swim coach at the club at age fifteen. CS&T sparked Lindsey’s love for swimming, and she continued on to swim for Chelmsford High School and Keene State College, captaining both her high school and college team swim teams. Lindsey has always had a passion for early childhood since her early days of coaching six and under swimmers. During the school year, Lindsey teaches 6th grade science in Chelmsford.
John Murch
Tennis Manager
Tennis Pro
Jon has been a USPTR certified tennis professional for over 30 years. He played tennis in college for nationally ranked Division 3 Skidmore, he also played soccer. In addition to teaching tennis for both Nike and Adidas camps early in his career, he more recently taught at clubs around Boston and New York City. He currently is a 7th grade history teacher in Sudbury where he has been the head coach for Lincoln-Sudbury’s golf and tennis teams, being named Boston Globe coach of the year twice.
Bruce Rich

We are very excited to welcome our new tennis pro, Bruce Rich back to to the club for his third season! He will be joining Jon Murch at the courts and is excited for a great summer. Bruce has been a Student Support teacher at Westford Academy for 13 years. He has worked as the head coach of the girl's tennis team at Tyngsboro High School from 2014-2016 and is now the JV Boys Tennis coach at Westford Academy. This will be his eighth season as the boys tennis coach, while he also coaches the WA football team in the fall and the wrestling team in the spring.
